Authorizations & Hunting Permit
GEORGE Salcieanu organizes [ Hunting Parties/Expeditions in Romania ] which is carried out only LEGALLY: based on [ HUNTING AUTHORIZATIONS & TEMPORARY HUNTING PERMIT ] - issued only by the Hunting Associations, with which I collaborate.
HUNTING in Romania is possible for foreign citizens under the following conditions:
• to be legal Hunters in their Country;
• to know and accept all the rules, laws and conditions of Hunting in Romania;
The Entry in Romania with its own shot-gun is made :
• INVITATION to HUNTING in Romania - issued only by the Hunting Associations, with which I collaborate;
• the shot-gun that you want to bring in Romania for hunting must be specified in your Gun Permit : the mark, the series, the caliber;
The following data must be specified:
• the date of entry in Romania | departure date from Romania;
• the border crossing point;
• the period time and the game - hunting species - required;
Valid Documents (physical originals & legalized translations in English) required:
• Gun Permit / Firearm License;
• Hunting Permit / License (from the origin country);
• ID Card / Passport;
• International Medical Insurance - covering Hunting Accidents - valid throughout the stay / hunting parties in Romania;
You must have these documents - all together - in your name and valid: with them in Romania you will receive the Temporary Hunting Permit & Papers Hunting Authorizations for Hunting in Romania (for foreigner hunters: type of animal/bird ~ interval days ~ hunting area) - issued by the Hunting Association.
Hunting in Romania is carried out only in group (minimum 2), in the presence of a companion - the group organizer, who will be responsible for the protection, safety and organization of the hunting party in the best conditions.
RULES in Romania regarding the Safety of the Shot-Gun:
- on PLANE: the carrying of the shot-gun / ammunition in the main luggage is not allowed;
- on ROADS in Romania, outside the hunting area: the shot-gun will be kept only in the case/sheath, with a trigger lock;
- at the HOTEL / ACCOMMODATION: the shot-gun will be stored in one secure metal box, which must respect the specific legislation;
According to the Romanian Legislation:
- maximum number of bullets for each carbine is 50 and maximum 100 cartridges for each shotgun;
- caliber should not be less than 5.6 mm;
- hunting is prohibited with more than 3 cartridges in the shotgun charger;
- every hunter can have up to 2 guns, even if they are of the same caliber;
- hound (hunting dog) can be brought in Romania only accompanied by veterinary certificate which must not be older than 10 days before entering the country. The dog must be vaccinated against rabies, with at least 1 month and no more than 12 months before the date of entry in Romania;
Transport
Hunters arrived in Romania will be picked up from the Airport and we will provide them - during their entire stay / hunting parties - all transportation with our own Cars.
We always provide full assistance from your arrival to your departure, you are in our care until you will call us from your home and tell us that everything is OK and you arrived safely :-)
In special cases we can make available private Helicopter.

My story... My grandfather...
I am GEORGE, born on June 20, 1981 in Buzau - and I LOVE HUNTING, passion inherited from my grandfather Ion Stoica, this wonderful "microbe" that I ve got since I was little growing up in my grandparents house, the largest relaxation and hobby of my life, that fills my body with adrenaline and joy and continues a family tradition.
Even now I remember, with my mind's eye, those images of my childhood with the powder box printed with an image of hunting (two hunters in a boat, on the water, and a dog in front of it) on a red and yellow background, my grandfather making cartridges in the house, in winter, with crimping machine, yellow eyelets and bulk pellets, the hunting belt hanging near the stove for the cartridges to be "dry", and the gun kept in the porch or in the wine cellar, wich he never hide it from us, grandchildren, because he trusted us.
Even now I can hear the sound of the snow creak, made by my grandfather, in winter, when he returned from hunting on the prowl, I can still see that image as if it was in front of me - him entering on the door dressed in white robe and holding a rabbit in his hand, and telling us the whole evening how he stayed at prowl in vineyard, motionless, moving only his eyes, how the rabbits were runing on the field, how he shot the rabbit, all this stories entered in my heart, wich trembles even only when these are mentioned.
Obviously, my first hunt I did it with my grandfather, I think I was about 8 years old, and the first time when I fired a rifle I had 10 years, at a new year party - to shoot the year wich had passed - a habit, that my grandfather kept all his life, in every year (my grandmother used to told him from the house the exact moment when the clock turned 00:00, and he used to fire two times, up in the air, in front of the house, and the neighbors were saying, "Take him Mr. Stoica"), and when I was for the first time at hunting alone with the rifle I can not tell you ... because I would have problems :-)
The HUNTER Ion Stoica - from Salcioara / county Buzau - was truly Hunter example for me, because of how much he loved his gun, a classic german WERK- HAENEL-SUHL- (juxtaposited/12/Krupp steel - 4 rings), how much more he would like to chase the rabbits on the fields, his eyes were so good, he even saw them on den, a hobby that he will keep all his life up to 85 years (2012), and that led him with honor even at his death, when fellow hunters had fired salute shots at the grave, and the cartridge tubes had been thrown in the grave over him, according to the hunting tradition.
In his honor and memory, I organize a Contest every year where I offer to the best Hunter - The Hunting Trophy "Ion Stoica"

The FOOD served to you will be only – BIO / ORGANIC – fresh purchased from the Country-Side (buy from the Romanian Villages - from the Peasants), cooked every day especially for you; we will eat something ~ meat ~ that was alive and healthy before, something ~ vegetables & greenery & fruits ~ picked on that day, something fresh not processed ... not stuffed with preservatives and E's…
We do NOT eat anything from the Supermarket, that food is poison…
We do NOT eat anything from the Restaurant from a predefined Menu, that food is normal and ordinary…
All the Food is prepared home-made, especially for you - by order, with special recipes, traditional Romanian and very tasty !

- many bottles of water during the Hunting ... hydration is very important, Hunting requires a lot of effort;
Your meal will be Full Board : Breakfast & Dinner at the Accommodation; Lunch is served in the hunting ground;
Your menu will be made with you...discussed before you are coming in Romania;
I hope eating with us you will remember your childhood - spent with your grandmother and grandfather - they are the ones who gave us : GOOD and TASTY food, in any 5 star restaurant we will not find such food...
